Services For All

Suicide affects people of all ages, incomes, races, ethnicities, and religions, impacting communities across every part of the country. The need for awareness, prevention, intervention, and postvention exists in every group and community.

The statistics are sobering:

  • For every suicide, there are about 25 attempts.

  • Suicide is the leading cause of death among people under 35 and the biggest killer of men under 50.

  • It is also the leading cause of death in the UK for 10–19-year-olds.

  • Each suicide represents a profound loss of hope, meaning, and purpose, devastating families and leaving a lasting impact on communities.

  • Together, we can work to change this narrative, fostering hope and saving lives.

Impact on Diverse Groups

Many groups are affected by suicide ideation. It is varied and individualised.

This is why we highlight “services for all” and below we aim to address some of the causal factors of suicide ideation and low levels of health and well-being affect people.

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

The above diagram is of Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, which highlights the basic needs of people, without which they may be liable to thoughts, behaviour and actions of suicide. We seek to focus our endeavours on each of these levels. Throughout our services, we also aim to consider the United Nations Sustainable Goals of which there are 10+ factors that we seek to address.
